John Galt Bottle: McKay

This is a jar that was sent in the mail to Yolande Macias McKay by John Galt in 1989.  McKay later wrote in New Obervations: Alchemy (#84, 1990) “this is an artwork that was sent to me by John Galt (I presume a pseudonym). It is a brain (or gray matter) shoved into a jar with water. The letter of provenance stated that it should be kept in sunlight. The condensation drips water through a rusty faucet wedged in the crevice of a cloudy brain. John Galt must know me…” (8).
